There are some NEW and NEEDED changes to our John Richard Web Site for the John Richard Dealers that I know you will appreciate.
1. We have changed the "product look-up" to "SEARCH".
This new feature will not only allow you to search by item # , but also by description, name, color, product name, subset of product code or general descriptions; as long as the information is included in the product name and/or description to match. The user will enter a key word or key words and the search engine will perform exact match. Just type in the search box any descriptive information and the search will display all the items that have that search word as a part of the description of the item.
2. Our Hot Products or our Best Selling Products are located in the “Product Showcase.” This “Product Showcase” contains a link to each product category for easy viewing. All items have been introduced as new market introductions within the last two markets. Product Showcase will be updated on a monthly basis.
3. “Product Availability” is an addition that contains a link to each product category’s “In Stock” list. Each link will contain thumbnail view functionality, descriptions, the ability to view prices and for items to be added to Wish List. The prices and wish list features will only be activated if the user is logged in via the Rep/Dealer login system. The Product Availability section will be updated weekly.
4. Product cost will be available to all dealers either when they look up the individual item or there is a downloadable "Wholesale Price List" that will be updated weekly. This price list can be printed or it can viewed online.
All of these changes will make it much easier to get answers when you want them. Most all calls to Starr and I are for price and availability. We are happy to give you this information, but sometimes it is easier to get it online.
